How an Automatic Barrier Works
Vehicle Detection
An LPR camera or motion sensor (loop detector) detects a vehicle approaching the entry point.
Plate Recognition
The AI algorithm reads the licence plate and checks it against the authorised vehicle database in 0.3 seconds.
Decision Made
If the plate is on the whitelist, the system opens the barrier automatically. Unknown plates trigger a security alert.
Barrier Opens
The electric drive raises the barrier arm. After the vehicle passes, the arm lowers automatically.
